Alamosa Public Library is here to keep you reading all summer with our annual Summer Reading Program! It’s fun, it’s free and it’s super easy to participate.

Children's Instructions and Reading Logs

Read for Beads

Log to earn a bead for every 15 minutes of reading. Show off your collection on your very own custom necklace!

Each Log counts by 15 minute intervals, for a total of 3 hours. 4 beads are awarded for each hour. A special bead is awarded upon a completed log, which is 3 hours of reading.

Reporte para ganar una perla para 15 minutos de lectura. ¡Luce tu colección en tu propio collar personalizado!

Cada reporte se cuenta en intervalos de 15 minutos, 4 perlas se ganan cada hora, y cada reporte es de 3 horas de lectura. Una perla especial se gana para un reporte completo.

Read anything you choose – all reading counts! Books, graphic novels, audiobooks.
Share your thoughts by writing a very quick review using this 5-Star Review Form!
Submit your review at Alamosa Library (300 Hunt Ave. Alamosa) and PICK YOUR PIN!

You have until the end of July 2025 to collect pins!

Shoot for at least 3 sentences.

Read, learn, explore and connect for a chance to win!

Read a book that takes place at least partially underground.
Celebrate Colorado’s 150th birthday by reading a book set in Colorado - or written by a Colorado author.
Read an “underground” book - a book that nobody seems to be talking about.
