From 3rd Street, turn north into the alley between the post office and Pro-Clean and then look to the right.
From 2nd Street, turn south in either of the 2 alley entrances and then look to the left.
Parking near the shed is usually available unless there is a big event in the park. Look for our forthcoming improvements at the sale shed that will enhance your shopping experience!

Do you have books to donate?

WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING DONATIONS.  We will announce when we are allowed to accept donations.

Donate books year-round by bringing them to the Library or by calling Rhonda Borders at 580-2010 (April-October) to arrange a drop-off time at the shed.
Please do not give us newspapers, magazines, personal papers, encyclopedia sets, cassettes, or books in very poor condition.
It would be a great help if you remove sticky notes, bookmarks, etc. from donated materials, although we do like to find hidden 100-dollar bills!
We attempt to take books that don’t or won’t sell to a recycling, but those facilities are rare.  So please help by sorting your donations before delivery.

To join Friends of the Library, return the Application Form to Alamosa Public Library with appropriate dues. You will receive a yearly membership card which gives you 20% discount on purchases at the book sales and late fees on your library account are forgiven.

The Friends always need good volunteers to help with hauling or unpacking boxes, setting up tables, sorting, shelving, advertising and book collection, or recycling.
