Origami Workshop
The San Luis Valley Origami group (also known as SALVO) folds a variety of paper models every month.
The next Origami Workshop at the Alamosa Public Library, located at 300 Hunt Ave. in Alamosa will be in November 12, 2016 Starting at 10 a.m., there will be easy-to-intermediate folding for both beginning and returning folders. Following immediately, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., there will be advanced folding instruction offered, featuring more complex models. For children 12 years old and younger, parents are requested to stay with
their child.

"Messages from the Hidden Lake"
The Friends of the Alamosa Public Library is pleased to invite submissions for the eighth edition of its literary and art collection, "Messages from the Hidden Lake". Creative writers and photographers of all ages may submit pieces for the volume. Please see our Friends of the Library page for more information.
