 SPPL Computer Classes!

Basic Computer/Internet/Email Classes are offered FREE every month from January to March. These are two hour classes held once a week for four weeks. The classes are geared for beginners but provide lots of time-saving shortcuts for the experienced computer user as well.

First week provides the basic information about computer components, glossary of words, computer maintenance, look inside a computer, etc. Second week teaches the beginnings of the Internet, discusses the different types of search engines with examples of each, list of informative websites, explains Boolean searches, practice searching the Internet, etc. Third week students will open a Yahoo email account and learn how to view, compose, reply and forward email messages. Fourth week we continue with creating and opening email attachments, adding contacts to the Address Book, and creating and moving messages to Folders.
