"Messages from the Hidden Lake"
The Friends of the Alamosa Public Library is pleased to invite submissions for the fifth edition of its literary and art collection, Messages from the Hidden Lake. Creative writers and photographers of all ages may submit pieces for the volume, to be published in the fall. Submission deadline is June 1, 2013.
Genre categories include poetry, short creative fiction and non-fiction, and black and white photography. There is a special category for full-color cover photography. Cash prizes will be awarded. Submission guidelines and entry forms are available online at: www.alamosalibrary.org.If you wish to submit, please complete the Entry form and forward it along with your submission to the email address on the Entry form.
The Fourth Edition of "Messages from the Hidden Lake" literary magazine is now available.

Library Board
Meets bi-monthly on the fourth Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
This board advises City Council and the City Manager on all issues pertaining to the public library, including effective operation.
Submit application (Applicant must be a resident of the City of Alamosa, verified through voter registration.)

Find ebooks at your library through our shared catalog, AspenCat. AspenCat now provides classic titles as well as the latest titles from popular authors.
